The new 6th Generation iPod Nano is available in 8GB and 16GB and comes in seven brilliant colors with an anodized finish. The Nano has undergone drastic design restructuring, going from a rectangle to nearly a square measuring 1.5 x 1.6 inches and has a width of .35 inches. The new Nano’s display is a 1.54 inch (diagonal) LCD screen with a 240×240 resolution that uses a multi-touch interface. Three silver buttons grace the Nano 6G’s topside: one for sleep/wake and the other two for volume control.
The 6G iPod Nano come with strong clip that fastens securely to a sleeve during moderate exercise. Beyond the iPod Nano’s sleek compact design and physical functionality, it is also a multi-purposed media device. The Nano stores the most common audio-file formats, including podcasts and audiobook, view photos synced via iTunes and store data. Through the Nike + iPod dongle, the iPod Nano becomes a pedometer.
