The HTC HD2 Smartphone Arrives on O2

O2 owned by Telefonica today received the latest windows phone 7 smartphone, its the HTC HD2 already in stock with T-Mobile and Vodafone.

The Mobile Phone Contracts which follows the already released TG01 is now available for just £34.40 a month as a result of a £90 cashback offer with Mobiles.co.uk. If you go with the 24 month contract you can expect to recieve unlimited texts and upto 1200 minutes a month. For people who choose the shorter 18 month contract you will be paying £42.93 and get the reduced limits of just 500 minutes and 500 texts.

You can get much better deals from other phone suppliers but you will receive fewer minutes. The HTC HD2 comes with 600 minutes plus unlimited text from Vodafone for £28.94 a month on a 24 month contract.

General manager of O2 within the UK Steve Alder said “he HTC HD2 is the first HTC branded phone to be sold on O2 We love the large screen and combination of Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC Sense”. The HTC HD2 is to be made available via Carphone Warehouse in their high street stores and online.
