Motorola W7 Active and Sony Ericsson T715 - Two Sliding Machines Fighting With Each Other

Several mobile phone manufacturers are competing in the market, and they all have something unique or advanced feature. Although there are many providers such as Nokia, LG, Samsung and many other, there are two brands which have maintained a good position amongst them. These two are - Motorola and Sony Ericsson. They have always thrilled the market with outstanding functionality & features, and with awesome designs and looks as well. There is a tough competition between these two handset providers, and their latest mobile phones, Sony Ericsson T715 and Sony Ericsson T715, are fighting with each other at present.

Both have different features and capabilities to attract people, but one thing which is common among them is the screen. Still the W7 Active has accelerometer sensor, Turn-to-mute & Gesture control, besides the 2.2 inches TFT screen which supports 256 thousand colors display. Light weight mobile phones are always easy to carry, and it makes them quite handy as well. The 96 grams T715 is lighter than the other model, whereas the W7 Active weighs 105 grams.

Dimensions of these two handsets are very close to each other, the W7 Active has 99 * 49 * 15 mm measurement, and the other handset has 91.5 * 48 * 14.9 mm. In terms of internal memory, the T715 is way ahead than the other one. It has 90 MB storage capacity, while the other model has only 30 MB, but that could be extended upto 8 GB with memory card.

The W7 Active has a 2 mega pixel camera, with secondary VGA which allows to make video calls. On the other hand, the T715 has a 3.15 mega pixel camera with LED flash and features like Geo-tagging & videocalling. The LED flash allows to take clear and bright images in the dim light as well. So, it is quite clear that this snapper is definitely more advanced and stronger than the other one. In case of messaging, The T715 has an additional option of Push Email, which is missing in the other device.

In terms of connectivity and Internet browsing, both have several options such as GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth and USB. The T715 has an additional option of HSCSD, which is certainly good for the users. The battery backup of both the mobile phones is quite good. Motorola W7 Active offers standby time up to 300 hours in 2G & 3G both, and talktime up to 8 hours in 2G & 3 hours 30 minutes in 3G. Whereas, Sony Ericsson T715 provides standby time up to 400 hour in 2G & 350 hours in 3G, and talktime up to 10 hours in 2G & 4 hours in 3G.

These two magnificent handsets have many unique features to entice people, and to compete in the market. The W7 Active has Fitness applications, Pedmeter, Stopwatch, MotoID music recognition and Push-to-talk features. And the T715 offers TrackID, YouTube and Google Maps, as additional features. And the similar ones are - Organizer, Voice memo, and T9.

Motorola and Sony Ericsson, both the providers are very creative and innovative, in terms of producing mobile phones. And these two handsets, Motorola W7 Active and Sony Ericsson T715, are quite competent in their own ways. It is quite difficult to assess these devices, and to analyze which one is better or superior to the other. Based on the requirements of the users, these gadgets will certainly compete and survive in the mobile market.
